| UNIVERSAL DESIGN |

"Universal Design" was created in the 1950s as part of the American Disability Act. It has developed into a design category all it's own that enhances the health and safety for every person and everywhere people work, live and play.

This design concept helps and allows individuals to move about from one space to another without impediment such as narrow hallways, tall cabinetry, cumbersome bath facilities and out-of-reach counter tops and appliances.

New technologies have even gone as far as to make it possible to control features in your home, including entry locks, lighting, communication, heating & cooling, and more - all from a remote, smartphone or tablet.

Why is this important?

The goal is to keep you in your home as long as possible, for reasons of both health and happiness, enhancing the quality and longevity of life.
